Information for Students of Institute of Transdisciplinary Studies (ITS) Programme
The Talent 100 PhD Scholarship Scheme (T100 Scheme) was launched in 2020 with an aim to enhance the University’s research capacity and provide comprehensive and practical doctoral training, in particular transdisciplinary research training. Meritorious PhD Students admitted under the T100 Scheme will be hosted under the Institute of Transdisciplinary Studies (ITS) during their first year of study. They will undergo transdisciplinary doctoral project-based training programme through courses that aims to :
- enhance students’ transdisciplinary research knowledge, as well as language, writing, presentation, analytical skills and other soft skills, so as to lay a solid foundation for their future research journey; and
- inspire and facilitate their future research works by providing opportunities for students to communicate and exchange ideas on transdisciplinary research.
Structure of ITS Programme

Students will undergo practical and intensive project-based training throughout this year. They are required to study the following courses that are specifically tailored to their transdisciplinary education needs.

From the 2nd year onwards, students will return to their home departments of their respective Principal Supervisors to continue their PhD education. |
