Studentships

There are two types of studentship awarded to qualified full-time students: University Grant (UG) Studentships and Research Grant (RG) Studentships.

Studentships

Details

University Grant (UG) Studentships

Award to full-time students normally for a period of 24 months for students on MPhil programmes, or 36 months for those on PhD programmes. The studentships are subject to the Terms and Conditions of University Grant (UG) Studentship.

Research Grant (RG) Studentships

Award to full-time students who are recommended by their supervisors on the basis that they could contribute to various research projects with open-bid funding. These studentships are subject to the Terms and Conditions of Research Grant (RG) Studentship.
