Registration

Applicants who have accepted the offer will be notified about the registration date and venue. You are also reminded to log into your account in the online application system two weeks before your commencement for the most updated information on the registration.

Before registration

Non-local students should upload the copy of the following documents to the University's Visa Application System <http://gs-visa.hkbu.edu.hkbefore registration or as soon as it is available.

On the day of the registration, local students should bring your Hong Kong Identity Card for registration. Non-local students should bring (1) the above original documents (if applicable); (2) an acknowledgement email generated by the University's Visa Application System for the registration. 

During Registration

Orientation cum registration will normally be arranged on the 1st and 16th of the month. If it falls on holidays or weekend, it will be moved to the first working day after the weekend or holiday. During the orientation, students will be given their student cards, information about their study, and the opportunity to mingle with other research students. Our staff will also check your documents (i.e. original diploma(s) and other relevant documents).
