Diploma Distribution for 2022 Graduates of Postgraduate Programmes
IMPORTANT MESSAGE
As announced by ITO, your life-long Gmail account has been already taken over by Microsoft O365 account as the official email account on 1 July 2022. You will not be able to receive email from your HKBU Gmail account anymore. To receive emails regarding the diploma distribution, including the acknowledgment email, please access your email through the O365 Outlook Mail Online, using the SAME Username/Password as your HKBU Gmail account. The Graduate School is arranging courier delivery of diplomas to graduates of 2022 who either did not attend the Commencement ceremony or have not collected the diploma after the Commencement ceremony on graduation day.
A link to the online form about diploma delivery will be emailed to graduates who have not collected their diplomas. Please fill in all the information required and submit the form by Monday, 14 December 2022.

Graduates with delivery addresses in Mainland China will be required to upload a copy of both sides of the recipient’s Mainland China Resident ID Card to the SF Express system. After the 1st batch of mailing, details will be posted below after the FAQ section.
Each graduate can only submit the online form once. After you submit the form, you cannot make any subsequent changes.

Q1. I have submitted the online form. Could you check whether you have received it?
A1. An acknowledgement email will be sent out after each of the submission deadlines mentioned above.
Q2. Can I come to the Graduate School to collect my diploma instead?
A2. Collection of the Diploma at Graduate School by yourself or your authorized representative will be available in starting from 28 December 2022. Please check out the latest information on this website.
Q3. Can you send me a scanned copy of my diploma before mailing it?
A3. To ensure data privacy and document integrity, any requests for sending a scanned copy of the diploma as an email attachment will not be accepted. The graduates of 2022 may access and share their diplomas in electronic format with a third party such as an employer, employment agency or an educational institution via the HKBU Digital Credential System starting from 12 December 2022. The graduates would receive a notification email via their HKBU email account when his/her electronic diploma is available in the HKBU Digital Credential System.
Q4. I need my diploma urgently. Can you send mine first?
A4. Please understand that thousands of diplomas are being handled, and in order to expedite the process and ensure the security and accuracy of the logistics involved, no individual requests of any kind could be entertained. Our teams are trying their very best to send out the diplomas as fast as possible so that all graduates are able to receive theirs sooner. For graduates that submit the online form with accurate information by 6 November 2022, their diplomas will very likely be mailed out by 23 November 2022. If your (potential) employer urgently needs to have your qualification from HKBU verified, you could share your diploma / official transcript in electronic format via the HKBU Digital Credential System to provide proof of your graduation status.
Q5. Can I change the delivery address after I have submitted the online form?
A5. Each graduate can only submit the online form once. After submitting the form, any subsequent changes are not allowed.
Q6. Can I request the diploma to be delivered to me on a specific date/time?
A6. Please note that no special requests would be entertained by Graduate School. A tracking number will be posted on this page after mailing of your diploma and you may use it to make inquiries with the corresponding courier service provider(s). For graduates with delivery addresses in Mainland China and Hong Kong, please contact SF Express for more information. For graduates with delivery addresses in other countries, please visit DHL for more information.

If your delivery address is in Mainland China, for custom clearance purpose, you are required by SF Express to provide a copy of both sides of the recipient’s Mainland China Resident ID Card as soon as possible once your waybill number is available at https://www.sf-international.com/cn/sc/support/customsClearance/uploadPhotos.
