The Hong Kong Sociological Association’s 26th Annual Conference will be held on 6 December 2025 at HKBU, under the theme "Navigating a Changing World: Comparative Perspectives on Social Structures and Inequalities." Professor Man-Yee Kan, from the Department of Sociology at the University of Oxford, has been invited to speak on the topic: "Gender Differences in Leisure Time in East Asian and Western Societies." The conference is now calling for abstracts. The deadline for abstract submission is 19 September 2025, with a maximum length of 300 words. Students are warmly encouraged to share their insights and be part of this important dialogue shaping the future of sociology.
