ITS Transdisciplinary PhD Programme

Introduction

The ITS Transdisciplinary PhD Programme was launched in 2020 to enhance the University’s research capacity and provide the students with comprehensive and practical doctoral training in transdisciplinary research.

Students admitted under the programme remain affiliated with their home department throughout the four years, engaging in transdisciplinary research studies aligning with the directions of the University’s strategic Research Clusters: 

• Creative Media/Practice
• Health and Drug Discovery
• Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence, and
• Humanities and Cultures

Programme Structure

Students will undergo practical and intensive project-based training throughout their study journey.In the first two years, they are required to complete a series of courses designed to support their transdisciplinary research development.
