The programme exposes the highly interdisciplinary nature of green energy technology as it encompasses the fields of materials science, renewal energy technologies, and the social implications they have on human activities. Though the programme is managed by the Department of Physics, the content of the programme is not restrictive only to physical science instructions, but also covers the areas of energy production, energy usage, energy audit, energy economics, energy management, environmental monitoring and hands-on experience.
