Academic Qualification

1. An MBA or a master’s degree in business-related subjects from a recognised university or equivalent; and
2. Substantial years (normally 10 years or above) of managerial or professional experience at an appropriate level.

Language Proficiency Requirement

1. Proficiency in English language (such as completion of a degree programme taught in English); or
2. TOEFL score of 79 or above for the internet-based test*; or
3. IELTS score of 6.5 or above*; or
4. Equivalent score on a comparable test.

*Note: Test result provided should be within two years from the date of issuance of the Admission Offer letter. TOEFL iBT Home Edition or IELTS Indicator test is not accepted.

Others

Applicants must submit:

1. A statement of purpose of 2000 – 3000 words, stating the interested area of research, as part of the selection process.
2. Contact information of two referees who are in the position to give comment on the applicant’s professional work and suitability for the programme.

In each academic year, DBA students will be awarded a DBA Distinction Scholarship of HK$6,000 if they

1. have attained a cumulative GPA of 3.67 or above at graduation; and
2. have not repeated any courses; and
3. have no course grade below B-; and
   (subject to the same conditions applied to the Distinction academic standing) and
4. can graduate within four years without suspension
