Information for Newly Admitted Taught Postgraduate Students
(For September 2022 Intake)

Welcome to the Hong Kong Baptist University! Please take a moment to read through the following important information before the commencement of your studies.

 

5 September 2022

Classes Begin

All classes will start on 5 September 2022. To find out the important dates for your studies, please refer to the Academic Calendar

5 September 2022 -

 19 September 2022

Regular Course Add/Drop

All students are eligible to add/drop the courses/sections within the regular Add/Drop period. You may click here for the information of course adding/dropping in detail.

Early September -

 Early October 2022

Academic Integrity Online Tutorial (AIOT) - Applicable to all students of the master's degree programmes

You are required to complete an "Academic Integrity Online Tutorial (AIOT)" on Moodle within the first two months of your studies; otherwise you would not be able to register for any courses in the next term. Please click here for details. 

Within 30 days of your arrival of Hong Kong

Submission of a copy of the Hong Kong Identity (HKID) Card (Applicable to non-local students with student visa only)

You are required to upload a photocopy of the HKID card to the University Student Visa Application System within 30 days of your arrival of Hong Kong.

You are reminded to strictly follow the measures below to ensure your health and safety:

  1. Arrange quarantine accommodation for your arrival in Hong Kong
  2. Observe and follow the quarantine measures set by the HKSAR after you enter Hong Kong
  3. Upload QR code of your latest vaccination and/or recovery record through the Health Declaration Form on the HKBU mobile app 
  4. Complete the Health Declaration Form on the HKBU mobile app everyday before you enter campus
  5. Do not enter campus if you have symptoms of coronavirus, including fever, fatigue, cough, diarrhoea, vomitting or flu-like symptoms
  6. Wear a surgical mask on campus
  7. Check the University Updates for latest information
