Information for Newly Admitted Taught Postgraduate Students
(For January 2022 Intake)

Welcome to the Hong Kong Baptist University! To prepare for your studies at HKBU, please take a moment to read through the following important information before the commencement of your studies.


10 January 2022

Classes Begin

All classes will start on 10 January 2022. To find out the important dates for your studies, please refer to the Academic Calendar

10 January 2022 -

 22 January 2022

Regular Course Add/Drop

All students are eligible to add/drop the courses/sections within the regular Add/Drop period. You may click here to find the information of course adding/dropping in details.

Early January -

 Early February 2022

Academic Integrity Online Tutorial (AIOT) - Applicable to all students of the master's degree programmes

You are required to complete an "Academic Integrity Online Tutorial (AIOT)" in the first two months after commencement of studies; or you would be barred from registering any courses in the next term. Please click here to find the information in details.

Within 30 days of your arrival of Hong Kong

Submission of a copy of the Hong Kong Identity (HKID) Card (Applicable to non-local students with student visa only.)

You are required to upload a photocopy of the HKID card to the University Student Visa Application System within 30 days of your arrival of Hong Kong.

You are reminded to strictly follow the measures below to ensure your health and safety:

  1. Observe and follow the quarantine measures set by the HKSAR after you enter Hong Kong
  2. Arrange quarantine accommodation after entering Hong Kong
  3. Do not enter campus if you have symptoms of coronavirus, including fever, fatigue, cough, diarrhoea, vomitting or flu-like symptoms
  4. Complete the Health Declaration Form if you enter campus
  5. Wear a surgical mask all the time in the campus area
  6. Check the University Updates for latest information
