Academic Standards

Student’s academic standing are officially recorded in the Graduate School at the conclusion of each term.  Grade reports will normally be released approximately five to six weeks after the examinations. Any inaccuracy or inconsistency should be reported within two weeks after the reports have been issued.

Unsatisfactory academic performance may result in:

  • Academic Warning (term GPA 2.20–2.49)
  • Academic Probation (term GPA below 2.20)
  • Academic Dismissal (as required by the Senate when the student's term GPA is below 2.20 for two consecutive terms; or on other academic grounds)

Please refer to the University Student Handbook for details.
