Information for Non-local Applicants (TPG)
The Immigration Department of the HKSAR Government requires all full-time non-local students (both international and from Mainland China) to obtain a student visa in order to study in Hong Kong. Non-local students are defined as persons entering Hong Kong for the purpose of education with a student visa/entry permit issued by the Director of Immigration. Part-time non-local students should possess appropriate and valid visa to prove their eligibility to stay and study in Hong Kong.
Newly admitted non-local students should apply for student visas through the University. Please click here for more information about student visa application.
