The Graduate School was established in 2002 with an aim to foster a quality postgraduate study culture and to nurture and inspire innovative research. During the past decade, the Graduate School has witnessed the growing aspiration for postgraduate study. With the high demand of society, we have experienced substantive expansion in rolling out various postgraduates programmes that meet both the local needs and the international standards.
Students at the Graduate School come from different professions, background and culture. Whether taking part-time or full-time programme or engaging in taught postgraduate or research postgraduate programme, they all experience first class education that takes their personal development to the next level. We make an all-out effort to create an innovative learning environment that opens up the door for you to meet and learn from the best of the academic community, to connect to abundant learning resources, to access the wealth of knowledge, to build learning and working networks, and to enjoy the enriching learning experience.
Research underpins good quality teaching. The academic community here takes seriously its research endeavors and makes every possible step to render an environment conducive to research excellence. The Graduate School plays a vital role in supporting and facilitating the research endeavours of both the academic and student communities. An array of schemes and scholarships are available to create a unique research rich learning environment at HKBU.
The Graduate School has gone from strength to strength since its establishment. I invite you to explore the opportunities that the Hong Kong Baptist University offers and would welcome you on board to be part of the driving force of academic and research excellence!
