Information for Non-local Students
The Hong Kong Immigration Department requires all full-time non-local students (from overseas or the Mainland China) to obtain a student visa in order to study in Hong Kong.
Non-local students are defined as persons entering Hong Kong for the purpose of education
with a student visa/entry permit issued by the Director of Immigration. Newly admitted non-local students shall refer to the student visa application method
Part-time non-local students should possess appropriate and valid visa to prove their eligibility to stay and study in Hong Kong.
